Rent engine
The Rent Engine automatically generates period items based on your rental contracts. It helps you keep rent and related charges consistent, so you don't have to create them manually each period. Once the items are generated, you can review them and convert them into payment requests.
Step-by-step guide
Open the configuration
- Go to
Settings - Select
Rent calculator(top-right of the screen) - Click

Configure the Rent Engine
- Before / After: choose whether items are generated before or after the first week of the period.
- Number of days: set how many days before/after.
- Transaction name template: set how the transaction name is generated.
TIP
You can keep the default Transaction name template unless you need a different naming convention for reporting.
