Connect a simple account
A simple account lets you add a bank account to SNDQ without a live bank connection. It's useful for older accounts, or accounts with only a few payments.

| Simple account | Low-volume or legacy accounts | No sync. You add amounts yourself (manually or by upload). |
| Smart account (Ponto / Isabel 6) | Day-to-day work and automated payment updates | SNDQ can fetch new payments automatically via a bank connection. |
TIP
A simple account has no real connection to your bank account. If you want automatic updates later, set up a smart account via Set up Ponto connection.
Step-by-step guide
Start from Accounts
- Open
Financial - Go to
Accounts - Click
Add bank account number
Choose "simple"
- In the pop-up, click
Add simple account
Fill in the account details
- Choose the account type (Checking or Savings)
- Fill in:
- Account holder
- Bank account number (IBAN)
- Initial balance
- (Optional) Upload a bank transaction file
- Click
