Create a rental contract

Creating a rental contract links a tenant to a unit and defines rent and payment settings. It's an important step because SNDQ uses this information for rent generation, follow-ups, and later contract changes. The guided flow takes you through General, Rent, and Financial, then lets you review everything before saving.

TIP

Make sure all required fields are filled in correctly. After you click Finish and save, some fields can no longer be edited—double-check the tenant, unit, and key dates. Later rent changes are handled through revisions.

Step-by-step guide

Open the contract flow

  • Go to Patrimony
  • Click Add rental contract

General

  • Fill in the required information on the General screen (contract details, dates, tenant(s), unit(s)).
  • Click Next step to go to rent configuration.

Rent

  • Configure rent on the Rent screen (base rent and any optional charges, deposit, or discounts).
  • Click Next step to go to financial information.

Financial

  • Configure payment settings on the Financial screen (frequency, document type, message, and due date).
  • Select the bank account where you receive payments.
  • Click Next step.

Review and save

  • Review all entered information.
  • Click Finish and save to create the contract.
